A Challenge for us all for Term 2

We have decided to run this as an Option for term 2

How would you like to take an old ride on mower and parts from a ride on scooter - electric motor and controller and "convert it" to a child's ride on battery driven tractor !

Adventurous !
Great fun !
Lots of work !

We will be asking if we could have some helpers to make this idea work !

We will have 12 children for the 10 week session.

2 will be bloggers and 1 will do video and one pictures - those 4 will be responsible for the report each week. Next week will be a different 4.
they will still be able to help but must put up the pictures and text and video before the end of the current week !

By the time it comes to school it wont have a motor or catcher though

here is what it started as, a bit sad !

Updates on this term !

We have shelved the tractor idea until Term 2 so this term we have been looking at Digital Citizenship

So the Intermediates - after some discussion in class and with their teachers help have made some short segments about different aspects of Digital Citizenship

We have already had 4 weeks of planning, preparation. practice and then filming.

We have edited out the footage and already we have shown about 6 on MVTV as part of What's Up and as "fillers" for the show

The response has been great and the audience - the rest of school -  are looking forward to the rest of them

We should have more by the end of this week too so keep looking on the MVTV blog at the March shows and you will see them up there

We will try to post some videos up here on the blog as well
next week we have the second group of video editors starting so we will have anew lot of segments to share on MVTV as well

The final Polymorph Products so far !

The Polymorph process...

We have had lots of questions about how we approached the polymorph topic so here are some screen shots and pix of the book work....

 We "played" with the polymorph to work out its capabilities and limitations and then thought of possible ideas for its use

Came up with a series of ideas then chose one !

MBots

We have got some new MBots and are having to put them together before we play with them.
They say a picture is worth a 1000 words so here goes ...

Mr Young joined Miss Chester and the children and put his MBot together with everyone else.
